Crystal has been preparing taxes since 2007 and specializes in small businesses and solving tax issues. If you need tax prep for a partnership or Scorp, Crystal is your gal! She has extensive experience with rentals, retirement, capital gains and asset sales, and many other tax puzzles. She founded Crystal Clear Tax Solutions Inc. and has transformed the company from 50 clients at her kitchen table to an office with a staff of 7, all the while maintaining that intimate individualized service her clients have come to expect. Crystal also provides business consulting, payroll and bookkeeping services. She was first licensed by the Oregon Board of Tax Practitioners in 2007, received her Consultant's license in 2009, attained Enrolled Agent status in 2013, and graduated with an Associates Degree from Warner Pacific College in 2014. Crystal has 4 kids and enjoys reading, sewing, organizing,  church groups, and spending time with her family. 

Barbara's goal is to take the stress out of taxes for her clients, so she is happy to have been working at Crystal Clear Tax Solutions since 2018, where everyone strives for accurate, audit-proof tax returns along with providing great customer service.

She enjoys working with retired clients and making sure their unique needs are met, along with making sure they get all the time and attention they require. As a native of Sandy, she is open to a little reminiscing about the "good old days" in town. She has had at least one of her three daughters in college for the last 15 years, so she is very invested in making sure that college students and their parents get the best deal on their taxes. Barbara and her family lived in Turkey for 10 years and she is interested in working with international clients and researching their tax issues.

After graduating from Sandy High School, Barbara earned degrees in Chemistry and Chemistry: Teaching before discovering how great it is to be a Tax pro. She started taking tax classes in 2011 and is an Enrolled Agent and Licensed Tax Consultant.

In her spare time Barbara likes outdoor activities with her husband, Mike (when it isn't raining); hiking, kayaking and snowshoeing. Participating in and leading small groups with her church keeps her learning and growing, and the members will always call her "Barbie". In the off-season, she makes as many trips to Tennessee as possible to see her adult children and especially her granddaughters.

Sarah joined our team in 2017. Sarah brings a passion for helping her clients get the most out of their tax return, with a pleasant experience.  Sarah specializes in Rentals and Home Sales. She has experience with American Opportunity Credit, Earned Income Credit, Child Tax Credit, Itemized Deductions, small business Schedule C, and much more. She was a payroll supervisor for 30+ years, and is great with W4 planning and retirement saving questions. Sarah obtained her Tax Consultant's license in the fall of 2023! She loves spending time with her family and friends.

Kim is the OG of our office. She's been with us since 2016 and brings a passion for helping people. Kim holds it all together from document management to client relations. She even does some bookkeeping! Kim enjoys sewing, reading, and recently - diamond art/diamond painting... and spending time with her 6 grand kids! She also enjoys traveling the US with her husband when she's not tied down during tax season. She's not sure if she is looking forward to retirement or not; maybe you can help her decide this year! Tax season 2025 will be the last one for her before she retires... though I think we might still see her around the office from time to time. Please wish her well when you see her!

Fun joined Crystal Clear Tax in 2023 as an Assistant Tax Preparer. She has quickly become a valuable member of the team and someone you can count on to take great care in preparing your taxes. Fun has experience with retirement, families, and small independent contractor businesses. She is a new grandma and enjoys helping people. And yes, she goes by Fun!

Crystal Clear Tax Solutions welcomed Tiffany to the team as our Front Desk Receptionist in 2024. As of 2025 Tiffany became our Office Manager. You'll appreciate her help with navigating the portal, among many other talents. If you need an appointment, she's the one in charge of the calendar. She has two boys, one in high school and the other a young adult. Tiffany enjoys being in the outdoors, gardening, canning, camping and hiking with her husband Mike and their 2 sons! If you mention canning or gardening, be prepared to pull up a chair and have a lengthy chit-chat. And if you have an orchard that needs picking, she'd be more than happy to take some produce off your hands and maybe even return a jar of something nice for it!

Joe joined our team in June 2019. Joe is certified in COMPTIA and has extensive technology knowledge. You may see him around the office from time to time helping out the front desk, or maintaining our computer systems. He enjoys PC gaming, spending time with friends and family, and hiking & fishing.
